Well, look who decided to join us *glares pointedly at sun*. Heatwave 2.0 is here – it seems someone finally got their act together after a month-long holiday. ? Anyway… one of the things I’ve been loving this summer is co-ords – I’ve seen quite a few gorgeous ones floating about and since they’re the hot weather style essential, I thought I’d share my top five with you!

1) The floaty floral beauty

Perfect for frolicking is fields is this floaty floral set from H&M’s wildflower collection. I’m usually a ‘buy everything on sale’ kinda girl, but I snapped this set up full-price a while ago and it’s been my wardrobe fave ever since. I’m a huge fan of separates (more on this here), because, as well as looking absolutely divine paired together, the great thing about this set is that you can mix ‘n match each piece with existing items in your wardrobe! 2) The Cottagecore Cutie

If cottagecore were a single co-ord, this next set would definitely be it! Featuring the perfect “Anne with an ‘E'” puff sleeve in a ditsy floral print, she’s perfect for any girl who dreams of picnics in the meadows, finished of with a spot of flower picking (so basically… me). Pretty and practical, she’s made of a cool cotton denim, plus her top’s got a little tie-back detail for extra airiness (and a hint of ooh-la-la). I got the top and the shorts, but, there’s a whoooooole range, so check out all the gorgeousness below.

3) The Daisy Dream

Daisies are my favourite thing about summer, so of course I had to include a co-ord featuring them in this list! With its baby blue backdrop, this dreamy set creates the perfect daisies in a blue sky aesthetic, which oh-so-perfect for summer! I snapped up the cardigan a while ago (it was literally love at first sight), but did you know there’s a matching crop top too? Another cool cotton twinset, this pretty pair would be perfect with a pair of jeans, or you could throw the cardi on over a pretty summer dress. 4) The 70s flower power

Nothing beats the super cool vibe of the 70s flower power movement, and this next co-ord is no exception! With the bell sleeved top and flared trouser pairing, it’s the perfect balance of floaty florals and a nostalgic vintage vibe. These two pieces are my faves from The Hippie Shake’s Heroes Collection, and they’re super low stock, so snap them up while you can. The great thing about this co-ord is that it’s a great all-year-round piece; the striking sunset hues are perfect for summer, but throw on a coat and your favourite pair of boots and you’ve got yourself a perfect autumn outfit as well!

5) The Candy Stripe

The only thing almost as good as eating an ice cream is dressing like one and thanks to this gorgeous set from Stradivarius, you totally can! This sugar sweet set consists of a super cute bustier top, complete with cups to keep your girls in place, and a super comfy pair of shorts, plus *gasps* THEY HAVE POCKETS!!! Not gonna lie – the shorts do give me a sight ‘pyjama-y’ vibe, but I’ve actually bought them and they’re one of those ‘so comfy you never wanna take them off’ pairs so… can you really complain? Whether you choose to wear them in bed or for chilled days out with your friends, you’re gonna be one super-duper cool ‘n comfy human ice cream cone, which is the only thing that matters.
