Diamonds and Furs: Must have cosy and sparkly pieces for party season

Okay, so it may finally be party season (it didn’t half take its time getting here, did it?), but I for one will definitely not be making it shiver season this time around. December’s that time of year where everyone likes to get their glam on, so I’ve sourced the sparkliest and cosiest pieces to get you through party season in super hot style.

Waiting for that first party season event like…

1) Jewels for your crown

It’s said that a woman’s hair is her crowning glory, and what better thing to set off that crown than some sparkly hair accessories? I got these hair clips from ‘Primarni’ a couple of weeks back, and they’re definitely a pretty pair that scream party season if ever such a thing existed. Don’t panic if multi-coloured jewels aren’t really your thing, though- the good thing about ‘sparkle season’ is it there’s something for everyone, so check out the pieces I’ve picked out for you below!

2) Peekaboo knits

Knitwear may not exactly scream ‘party season’, but add a little see-through-something and suddenly you’ve found the perfect balance between stylish and cosy! I was lucky enough to be gifted this gorgeous jumper by Cameo Rose clothing, and I think we can all agree that the lace sleeves really take it to another level! It’s the perfect example of ‘business in the body, party in the sleeves’ that’ll take you from the office to drinks with the girls in seamless style. Just add some sparkly jewellery and dance the night away!

3) Dazzling jewels

For those of you who aren’t into the head-to-toe sequin look when it comes to partywear, first of all, what’s wrong with you (just kidding) and secondly, you can always get your sparkle fix with some dazzling jewellery instead! I bought my choker a couple of years back and technically speaking, it’s a summer piece, but since I’ve just had a clear-out and I’m still kinda trying to keep my spending to a minimum, I decided to give it a whirl for party season anyway.

4) Fabulous furs

For anyone else who loves being cosy like me, party season is the perfect time to get your style and snuggle on in some fab fur pieces! Whether you fancy a sassy stole, cosy coat or a cute clutch bag, there’s something about faux fur that just gives fabulous rich aunty vibes, especially if you pair it with some dazzling accessories. Mine’s another oldie from last year, but still very much a goody, I’m sure we can all agree!

5) Diamond-like clutches

Rihanna may have told you to shine bright like a diamond and you totally should, but girl, make sure your arm candy’s diamond-esque too! If you feel like you already have too many jewels going on, you can always switch things up with a little sequin magic a la moi. My ‘clutch’ is actually a makeup bag gifted by my lovely friend last year (hi, Kim!), but I decided she was way too pretty to never see the light of day, so voila.
