Spotted: Parisian-inspired pieces you’ll be wearing right through spring
It may be kinda chilly still, but since it’s officially March I’m starting to feel like Spring’s just round the corner! One of the things I’ve started trying to do is shop more responsibly, which for me means buying pieces I can make work year after year, whatever the season. Enter Parisian-chic: featuring pretty, polka dot prints in fresh, floaty fabrics, this is one trend that’s sure to stand the test of time! I’ve picked out some tres bon Paris-inspired pieces to get you through the warmer months ahead and put together an outfit to get you started if you’re after a little style inspo.
The slighly awkward smile when the wind gives you a little Madame Marilyn Monroe moment…
Polka dot tights: New Look
H&M: The Paris Effect
Ah, H&M… these guys are totally killin’ it on the Parisian style front. Not only are they servin’ all the vibes, but they’ve actually got an entire collection dedicated to paying homage to the city of love *swoons*, featuring lots of simple prints and monochromatic hues. The best thing about these pieces is, they really speak for themselves – you only really need a slick of red lipstick to complete your look!

4) Orelia Jewellery: Pearls, Pearls, Pearls
There’s something about pearls that’s so very Parisian, especially when they’re paired with a hint of gold! As you’ll probably know, Orelia is one of my favourite brands and while they don’t have a specific Paris-inspired collection, there are a lot of pieces from their new collection which have that Parisian-chic vibe! This gorgeous hair slide is a recent purchase and safe to say its a new fave in my ‘hairdrobe’. With its gold-plated finish, its a classic design that’s sure to stand the test of time.
