Back to Brights: The best cute ‘n colourful pieces to make your very own style rainbow… without a drop of rain in sight! ???

Well, look who finally came and showed up, just as we were all starting to give up on ‘im? Yup, that’s right… summer! There’s something about super sunny days (shoutout to last weekend, btw) that makes me wanna dress like a rainbow, so I put together a look showing you how to do just that… without a single drop of rain in sight!

To start off, I picked out this gorgeous stripy bardot top, kindly gifted by Cameo Rose Clothing. As you’ll probably know by now, colour and off-the-shoulder necklines are kinda my thaaaaaang, so this was deffo one of those ‘love at first sight’ pieces! Not gonna lie- I can be a bit funny with neon colours (and this bright yellow is briiiiiiiiiight, honey), but I love how the yellow’s combined with the softest emerald green- think lemonade finished off with a few mint leaves and a sprinkling of ice on a hot summer night…Mmmm. The best thing about this piece is it’s got an elasticated neckline so it’s super comfy- perfect for day trips or vacations in the sun!

My blouse did go on sale so it’s currently sold out, but if like me you can’t get enough of stripe print, check out this adorable co-ord below! Featuring bow-eau-tiful detailing in a sunny, airy fabric, this is summer summarised in a single set!

Think summer brights are just for casual wear? Think again! With this mint blazer from Boohoo, you can totally freshen up your workwear wardrobe, and bring a hint of colour to the office at the same time!

Speaking of colour poppin’, I felt like doing some of my own with this look, so I paired the stripes with a sunny broderie anglaise midi skirt to really let the top do the talking! If you think you’re getting deja vu,  you’re right- I did style a whole broderie anglaise look in my last post. Yes, I am obsessed with the fabric. No, I am not sorry. This lil’ cutie was gifted by my mum last year (aren’t mums the best?) I wasn’t too sure about the colour at first, but I discovered it matches my blouse perfectly, plus it’s part of the ‘IT HAS POCKETS’ gang, so… SOLD.

Wanna make a sunny broderie moment of your own? Check out my skirt’s style twin below! Featuring cute button detailing and every girl’s favourite ‘P’ (pockets), this is pretty and practical in a single piece!

It looks like things are finally hotting up (about time, right?!), so this time around, I ditched the jacket and finished off with the straw bag and sandal combo featured in ‘Nautique Girl’. There’s nothing like a little wood and raffia to really bring the summer vibes, and this pretty pair are such ‘goes with everything’ pieces that’ll see me right through summer!

And there you have it: how to bring the brights back to your summer wardrobe, just in time for Mr Sun’s comeback!
