The perfect broderie dress
It’s no secret that broderie anglaise is my absolute favorite summer fabric (I talk about it all the time on my YouTube channel) and I’ve been on the lookout for a strapless broderie dress for at least 4 years.
Me being me though, there was always one thing or another wrong with every. single. one. I found previously. Either it was too short (kinda comes with the territory when you’re 6ft tall)… or it had sleeves (cute, but not so cute in 27 degree weather), or it was too expensive (what can I say? I’m a bit of a bargain queen).
They say love finds you when you’re least expecting it, and apparently so do dresses, because, one day as I was browsing online, I saw it. And it was literally love at first sight.
Sleeveless? Check. Midi-length? Check. Fit and flare silhouette? Check. And you know the best thing? This absolute beaut of a dress was only £5.
I’m the sort of girl who gets a wardrobe fave and start wearing it to the point where people begin to wonder if it’s the only thing I have and it’s safe to say, this little dress has definitely fallen into that category! With its classic aesthetic, it’s one of those pieces that’ll never go out of style and I look forward to wearing it for many summers to come.

Obviously, at that kind of price it wasn’t going to hang around for long so it’s sold out now (boo), but check out some of my equally gorgeous broderie anglaise picks below:
